FormalFoundry joined UR AI Summit 2026 at the University of Rzeszów on 12–13 May. Our co-founder Grzegorz Kunicki took part in a business panel examining how AI and large-scale data analysis can strengthen decision-making and competitiveness.

Moderated by Professor Bogdan Wierzbiński, the discussion brought together representatives of academia, Deloitte Central Europe BSC, regional government and the Podkarpackie Chamber of Commerce. It considered what organisations need to change—not only in their technology, but also in the way they make decisions.

Our contribution focused on a practical challenge: how to extend the reach of expert judgment without losing the reasoning that makes it valuable. More capable models are only part of the answer. In high-responsibility settings, organisations also need a way to examine the logic behind AI-supported decisions.

This is the problem our work aims to address: helping expert reasoning operate across larger volumes of cases, rather than treating AI as a substitute for expertise. The discussion reinforced the importance of connecting technical capability with organisational knowledge and accountable decision-making.
